Please start by reviewing the Office of Teacher Education website for more information.

[Note that departments wishing to link to Rod Library's online Praxis test preparation materials should link to this FAQ, which will be updated in the event of any resource or access changes.]

Online Praxis preparation materials, including practice tests, are available through the Brainfuse database. In the top toolbar, choose College Skills > SkillSurfer. Direct link to this module: https://guides.lib.uni.edu/testprep
In the search bar, search Praxis to see all available materials & practice tests. Note that you may need to create a Brainfuse account to use some materials; this is not related to your CatID & passphrase, is only for Brainfuse, and is free.

ETS also has online testing materials, available here and here. Some materials are available free (such as downloadable Study Companions) but some materials may have an additional cost; these are not paid by UNI subscription.

Print Praxis preparation materials are searchable via OneSearch. There are a couple of general call number areas for Praxis study materials. One is LB 1762 .P67 (followed by year).  The other is LB 2367.75 .P675, followed by year.  These are generally either in Stacks or on Reserve (in-library use only) in Rod Library or IRTS. Here is a list of some of the Praxis materials, with location information for each item.

What happened to LearningExpress? LearningExpress was not renewed by the State Library of Iowa and statewide access ended January 31, 2019. It has been replaced with statewide access to Brainfuse.
