Yes, Rod Library has an institutional subscription to the Foundation Directory Online Professional (Foundation Center) database.

Database description: Timely, comprehensive information on grantmakers and their grants. Included is a database of the entire universe of nearly 100,000 foundations, corporate giving programs, and grantmaking public charities in the U.S.; a database of nearly 4,000 sponsoring companies, offering a quick pathway to corporate funders; a database of over 2.1 million recently awarded grants; and a keyword-searchable database of over 650,000 recently filed IRS Forms 990 and 990-PF.

Steps to find the Foundation Directory Online database on the library website:

1. From the Rod Library homepage (http://www.library.uni.edu/), click on the "Research Databases A-Z" link located under the OneSearch! tab

2. Scroll down the alphabetical list

3. Click on the title to enter the database

If you are located off-campus, you will receive a screen requesting your CatID information before you are allowed into the database.
