Yes! Rod Library has access to articles from the Des Moines Register.

The current issues of the Des Moines Register are located in the Book Bistro area.  Older issues are located in the microform area on the bottom floor.

Click here to access a comprehensive index that covers September 1965-June 1976. It selectively indexes hundreds of articles from other years, especially from 1959-1964. Full text of the Des Moines Register is available on microfilm on the first floor.

There are also a few of its earlier titles back to 1871 when it was called the Daily State Register, also located in the microform area on the bottom floor.
